The 8-storey Palazzo Matteotti is located in the heart of the city, on the famous shopping streets, Via Monte Napoleone and Piazza San Babila, a few steps from Milan's La Scala and the Duomo.
It is located in a building of 1920, which was originally a bank. After a year of costly renovations, the hotel opened in summer 2009.
The hotel's design is from the talented architect Italo Rota and it was his first hotel project. Thus, the architectural design and colors are unique in the hotel world.
The hotel has 152 rooms of which none are alike. The style is the one of the architect and designer Gio Ponti (1891-1979) inspired.
Only the best "Made in Italy" materials were used for the equipment.
