This is where, in 1834, August Batschari founded Europe’s first cigarette factory. This suite, located in the historic director’s room, features a special highlight: in addition to the bathroom with shower, there also is a freestanding bathtub in front of the bed. Baden-Baden is without a doubt the most famous health resort town in Germany. Over the centuries, the casino, the great variety of cultural events and the illustrious crowd of nobility and celebrity guests have helped carry the name Baden-Baden far out into the world.
THE EXACT LOCATION
Today’s Baden-Baden is a mixture of Belle Époque meets Instagram. The small town on the edge of the Black Forest has managed the balancing act between past and present. Once a worldly rendezvous for the haute-volée, today hipsters frolic here from near and far. Baden-Baden is very much “in”.
MUMMELSEE
Not only in summer, but also in winter, the Mummelsee is worth a visit. Here you can experience winter in its most beautiful way. The frozen lake, snow-covered fir trees and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys make the trip a special experience. Even the small shops invite you to discover. BY AIR
Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport offers flights to various destinations. From the airport, it is best to take bus 205 or a taxi to the hotel.
BY TRAIN
Baden-Baden station is situated on the Berlin–Basel, Hamburg–Chur and Cologne–Basel high-speed ICE rail lines. The Marseille–Frankfurt TGV also stops here. Baden-Baden is serviced by additional EC and IC train connections operated by Deutsche Bahn. The hotel is easily reached from the train station by bus (lines 201/216). The nearest bus stop is Festspielhaus/Alter Bahnhof.
BY CAR
Coming from the A5 motorway, take exit 51 to merge onto the B500 toward Baden-Baden. Follow the main road for 6.7 km. Use the left two lanes to turn slightly left onto Lange Straße (signs for Centrum/Gaggenau/Ebersteinburg). After 450 metres, turn left onto Leopoldstraße. After another 100 metres, turn left onto Mozartstraße. The hotel is 120 metres further on the right.

Bus lines 201/216 stop close to the hotel. The nearest bus stop is Festspielhaus/Alter Bahnhof.
