In fact, our hotel is a small village within the big city of Hanover as its buildings are to be found around tree-lined squares and small lanes which promote encounters and communication. The hotel- owned fallow deer park, the adjacent paddock and the nearby nature reserve “Altwarmbüchener Moor” accentuate this idyllic place.
Every building has its own history, character and personality.
The main building, which has been reconstructed and extended constantly for 200 years, initially was used as a pub and old telegraph station, which provided the first telephone in the area. The threshing floor is a half-timbered farmhouse built in the country-style of Lower Saxony. The sophisticated country house which resembles the ballrooms of the twenties as well as the bright winter garden in modernist style which is equipped with highly modern building technology. All together they form an exceptional and unique ensemble which makes our hotel worth a visit!
