Hotel Valentina - Brief
The Hotel Valentina a superior boutique hotel situated in the heart of Paceville’s entertainment hub, and just minutes away from two of Malta’s top casinos, public beaches, night clubs and restaurants.
The Hotel has a luxuriously finished stylish lobby, reception desk, and an innovative theme bar extending to an entrance terrace, a breakfast hall, and a dedicated marketing and promotion desk. There is also a freshwater swimming pool surrounded by an attractive open air pool deck and an open pool bar. The hotel affords a total of 94 rooms, all of which are designated non-smoking.
Each room is finished to very high specifications, and is equipped with a centralised Air Conditioning system, purposely designed furniture, armchairs, a writing desk with a writing pad and stationery, a fridge, a colour flatscreen TV with satellite TV connection, an electronic laptop sized safe, tea and coffee making facilities, a radio alarm with an integrated iPod station, direct line telephone unit and a sanitary tissue box. In each room there is an ironing board / trouser press with an integrated electric iron. There is also a luggage rack and stainless steel waste paper bin in each bedroom.
Each room comes with an ensuite bathroom which includes a shower with a shower tray and shower unit, a hand washing basin, towel rails, magnifying mirrors, hair dryers, and soap dispensers. Five (5) of the bathrooms come equipped with a bidet. Moreover, in sixty-one (61) of these bathrooms, the toilet unit is separate from the shower area. All bathroom units are also equipped with a sanitary bin, operated by a foot pedal. Furthermore, 5 these rooms have been designated as rooms for people with special needs.
Insofar as the public areas are concerned, there is an internal courtyard with an outside smoking lobby, it is worthwhile to note that all parts of this establishment are accessible to the mobility impaired and a there is no part or facility in this establishment that a wheel-chair bound person may not access. Moreover, there are five (5) restrooms, one of which is specially finished for the mobility impaired, two of which are gender segregated and two of which are reserved to staff. There is also a garbage room with waste separation bins. In this establishment there is also a broadband WLAN internet access throughout the building and in the rooms. Moreover, each resident can pre-book and order the next day's newspapers to be delivered in room with the alarm-call.
Out of the 94 rooms described above, thirty-two 32 come with a balcony overlooking the streets below and each balcony is furnished with chairs. Five (5) units come with a medium-sized terrace that is furnished with outside furniture. Another eighteen (18) rooms come with french-styled windows. The remaining thirty-nine (39) back-rooms come with regular windows.
The Hotel offers quality value accomodation, on a bed and breakfast, half-board or full-board basis, primarily for short-stay tourism. All board options are taken at our sister restaurant The Avenue, only 50 metres away from the Valentina (www.theavenuemalta.com).
Moreover, the hotel is nurturing a reputation for the high value buffet and a la carte` breakfast on offer to tourists. In more specific terms, this breakfast includes four set varieties, including:
- the traditional English breakfast made up of scrambled eggs, sausages, baked beans, and fried streaky bacon,
- a continental breakfast including a variety of hams and cured meats including proscuitto, mortadella, salami, turkey breast and others, hard-boiled eggs, a variety of cheeses including ricotta, mozzarella, and cheddar, croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon raisin whirls, a variety of jams, a variety of cereals, some cakes, a variety of breads, and a variety of herbal teas and coffees, and fruit juices
- a traditional Maltese kolazjon, including sliced Maltese bread, traditional Maltese tomato paste (kunserva), qghaq tal hmira, biskuttini tar-rahal, pea and cheese cakes, pastizzi, imqaret, Maltese goat cheese and
- a healthy breakfast special, including a variety of fruits, and other greens including a salad variety with lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes. There is also on offer whole bread, muesli, and gluten free breads and cereals. Soya milk is also on offer.
The hotel offers also a reading room with a small varied library, and a wide selection of daily local and foreign newspapers. The establishment offers also a back office and stationery support services with a computer station, printer, scanner and a photocopier. The Hotel also offers baby cots and highchairs and a laundry service.
Moreover, management also offers use of a 50 - space underground car par, connected by lift to the rest of the establishment, as well as airport transfers, taxi services, and car hire services, provided by third parties.
This establishment is distinguished from other establishments in Malta thanks to its central location. In fact this Hotel is situated in the heart of one of the most popular tourist areas in Malta. It is in very close proximity to a popular rocky beach and to the St. Georges's Bay. It is also in very close proximity to the Paceville entertainment hub where there are a number of clubs, bars and restaruants, including some very well known fine-dining venues and international chains like McDonalds, BurgerKing, PizzaHut, and others.
