in a scenic location, embedded between the densely wooded extensions of de Lower Harz, in the Quedlinburg district, lies Ballenstedt, a town with a great historical past. The Ballenstedt Castle Hotel, a part of the old castle grounds, located opposite from the historical theatre, was first furnished for the guests of the royal house in the 18th century. In 1996/1997, the house was ruptured. After reconstruction, it shines in a new brilliance. Today, the Ballensted Castle Hotel represents an architecturally unique way of Ballenstedt baroque style.
