For conferences, business trips or cultural interests, the ATLANTIC Congress Hotel is centrally located in the popular district of Rüttenscheid and offers the perfect setting for your stay in our city on the Ruhr. Our new hotel building, which opened in January 2010, is right next to the Grugahalle, the Congress Centre and Messe Essen fair complex and is only 20 minutes’ drive from Düsseldorf Airport. In the adjacent Grugapark you’ll find numerous opportunities to stroll and jog. The "RÜ", Essen’s promenade of boutiques and restaurants, is only 500 metres away or five minutes’ walk. An underground station (U-Bahn) opposite the hotel gets you to Essen’s main railway station in just five minutes and is a relaxing and environmentally friendly way to travel by local public transport. If you’re arriving by car, you’re welcome to park in the hotel’s underground garage or on car park P1 directly in front of us.
