On our premises
Situated in the middle of a 20.000 m² park, our house offers the ideal venue for holding residential training courses, conferences or any event of your choice. An additional bonus to its superb location is that it is within easy access of all the cities in the Ruhr area.
Conference rooms
In our 16 variable seminar and conference rooms, fully equipped with modern technical facilities, seminars or conferences can be held for up to 250 people. All the rooms have large windows providing plenty of daylight but can be darkened if required.
Comfortable seating and parquet flooring, under which data links (internet access, analogue and ISDN) have been laid especially, provide ideal conditions for holding your event.
The facilities available range from presenter’s materials to video beamers those are specially adapted to the size of the room. In addition we offer a computer training room with 12 places each with its own data network link. This can be used not only for software training courses but also for video conferences.
Internet access is provided through a radio link transmitted directly to the data processing centre of the nearby FernUniversität in Hagen. This is considerably faster than the usual ISDN lines enabling large amounts of data to be sent quickly and easily.
Guests using their own laptop are now able to access our internet link using WLAN in all areas of the house including the seminar and conference rooms.
Guest rooms
All rooms (24m²) are en-suite, bright, comfortable and fully equipped with ISDN telephone, internet and fax facilities, radio and television. This offers the ideal place for relaxing and being motivated for the following day. A generously sized desk provides an excellent work place perfect for maximum concentration
Since May 2006 we have extended our premises with 20 new, completely renovated rooms in the ARCADEON Landhotel Halden. Here we offer double, twin bed or family rooms for up to 4 people. All rooms are equipped with a large big desk, phone, TV and WLan. Especially after a company or family celebration in the Arcadeon Landhotel Halden you can relax here and enjoy the comforts we have to offer. An extensive breakfast can then be taken in the restaurant in the Arcadeon.
Gastronomy
In our house we make sure our food is healthy and varied. This is an important basis for a successful seminar or conference. We serve light modern seminar fare as well as typical dishes of the region. Our ingredients are bought fresh from local markets ensuring high quality and diversity.
Breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner are mainly served in our restaurant which including the Gallery area provides seating for up to 250 people.
After a busy day, relax and enjoy a leisurely evening with friends and colleagues in our comfortable vault cellar where you will be warmly welcomed by our staff. In the summer we invite you to visit our barbecue on the big terrace under the vault cellar.
Groups can book the exclusive wine cellar in the ARCADEON Landhotel Halden with a menu or if you prefer a select buffet can be served in the restaurant of the Landhotel Halden for up to 80 persons.
The high rope garden
In May 2005 we developed a new kind of seminar room: The high rope garden in the Arcadeon. The 5 ground elements (Mohawk Walk / Drumming / low “V” / Wall and spider net) and 5 high elements (cat walk / rope dance / high “V” / Burma bridge and sky leader) present our seminar guests with a new challenge. Their mental and physical balance is tested here - ideal training for colleagues who must rely on each other.
