We travel a lot like you. And we asked ourselves at luxury hotels: why always so awkward? And why does one usually pay more than it is worth? That's how Ruby came into being.
Lean Luxury is our philosophy, slim luxury.
Luxury means uncomplicated comfort instead of formalities. Inspiring people instead of beautiful facades. Soul and character instead of glossy surfaces. No expensive prestige addresses, but rather where the real heart of the city beats.
We love our neighborhood and do a lot for the creative scene here. For the environment anyway, and that consistently. Only then does it feel right and good for us. Dear corners and edges as smooth, rather casual than aufgestyled, rather loud laughter than quiet blasphemy.
Slim means for us, not having to pay anything you do not need or want. Just omit the unimportant, quite consistently. In a hotel in the heart of the city, we do not need a restaurant or room service. For this we want a casual bar, which is open around the clock.
We do not need a huge room, because luxury is also on a small area. But we want everything to have its place and the important thing to work perfectly: Connected, sleeping, freshening up.
And because we not only have hoteliers, but also architects and software engineers in the team, everything is leaner behind the scenes: We organize ourselves quite differently than conventional hotels.
We consistently use IT, where it does no harm. We plan, design and build more skillfully to make more of our space. This will save us and you a lot of money. Feels good.
